MBX Series

A cross-linked polymethylmethacrylate spherical particle which can be used in applications requiring heat resistance, solvent resistance and weather resistance. We recommend looking into our high cross-linked grade for applications where solvent resistance is a major consideration.

SBX Series

A cross-linked polystyrene spherical particle which can be used in applications requiring heat resistance, solvent resistance and thermal stability. We can provide separate customization for applications requiring weather resistance or other characteristics.

MSX Series SMX Series

A copolymerized cross-linked particle of methyl methacrylate and styrene with the refractive index adjusted.
Suited for applications requiring fine control of optical characteristics. Refractive index can be adjusted between 1.495 to 1.595. Size, heat resistance and other characteristics can also be customized to suit customer needs.

SSX (Monodispersity) Series

A cross-linked polymethylmethacrylate spherical particle which can be used in applications requiring heat resistance, solvent resistance and weather resistance. Possesses a small pore distribution size which makes it well-suited for applications requiring uniform coating surfaces and uniform sizes. As with other series it is possible to adjust refractive index and solvent resistance as well as add functional groups.

Soft Particle Series

We offer particles with different levels of softness by combining various materials.
A delicate balance between softness and the reversion ratio allows particles to effectively absorb scratching force, improving the scratch resistance of coatings.

BMX Series

A cross-linked polybutylmethacrylate spherical particle which can be used in baked coating and precoat metal coating fields. Allows for softer textures than the MBX series.

ABX Series

A cross-linked polyacrylic ester spherical particle which can be used in applications requiring abrasion resistance and scratch resistance. This series has the intermediate elasticity of the BMX and ARC series as well as a high reversion ratio.
Can provide both improved scratch resistance and a flexible feeling (soft feeling).

ARX Series

A cross-linked polyacrylic ester spherical particle which can be used in applications requiring abrasion resistance. Possess rubber elasticity and can be used as a filler which provides a soft feeling and has elastic force not present in any preexisting materials.

MBP Series

Can be used in a wide variety of applications as an adsorptive support material for oil solutions and pharmaceuticals which using cross-linked polymethylmethacrylate porous spherical particle characteristics. Micropore diameter, specific surface area and other characteristics can be adjusted to suit customer needs.

Particle Series for Cosmetic Products

Because of its spherical shape, Techpolymer can be contained in foundation and other cosmetic products, allowing them to spread more smoothly, make wrinkles less visible, or have improved texture.
Particles for cosmetic products are available in four series: MB-C, MBP, ACX, and ACP.

MB-C Series

A polymethylmethacrylate spherical particle which has had residual monomers eliminated through a high degree of refining. Has superior smoothness and can be used as a filler in foundations.

A polyacrylic ester spherical particle which has had residual monomers eliminated through a high level of refining.
Adding this particle to cosmetics provides the cosmetics with a superior smoothness and soft texture.

ACP Series

A cross-linked polyacrylic ester porous particle. Can be used in a wide variety of applications as an adsorptive support material for oil solutions and pharmaceuticals which use porous particle characteristics.
This particle is also elastic, so can also provide a soft feeling in addition to adsorption characteristics.
