Anti-blocking Agents
Others
"TECHPOLYMER" provides unique effects in a variety of application in addition to
display, coating and cosmetics applications. In addition, we offer added value to our customer's application
through a variety of product customizations.
In this section we would like to introduce some of the
specialized applications for which "TECHPOLYMER" is used. "TECHPOLYMER" can bring a variety of new effects and
results to our customers product development in addition to those listed here, so contact us for a
consultation on how we can contribute to your product development.
Anti-blocking Agents for Film
Adding "TECHPOLYMER" in extruded films or in coatings on the surface of films can provide
the films with anti-blocking effects by the uneven surface created on the film. Compared to inorganic
materials (such as silica), "TECHPOLYMER" has high chemical affinity with the base resins, and can help
prevent damage on the surface of the film while reducing loss of the anti-blocking agent. In addition, for
applications which require high transparency, "TECHPOLYMER" offers solutions from various refractive index
and sizes.
Customization of the particle size and refractive index adjustment is available for requests
to further increase transparency in the applications.
Calcination Binder
"TECHPOLYMER" IBM-3 is a methacrylic resin with good heat decomposition properties in a non-oxygenated atmospheres. It can be used for binders that leave no carbide residue when sintered. It has good solubility in a range of solvents, and its viscosity can be adjusted to suit your purposes.

Pore Former
"TECHPOLYMER" can be used as pore forming agents by mixing with ceramic or metal powders, and calcinating the material to form pores in the calcinated material. Pore diameter can be adjusted by selecting the particle size of the product to meet the needs of our application.

Recommended Product
Anti-compression Material
"TECHPOLYMER" can provide anti-contraction effects when forming unsaturated polyester (BMC/SMC),
melamine, acrylic, and other materials.
SEKISUI DUOMASTER is also used as a low contraction agent for
unsaturated polyester (BMC/SMC) and other materials.
Recommended Product
Resin Modifier
"TECHPOLYMER" is an acrylic-styrene polymer particles with controlled composition and structure.
Adding it to resins can impart flexibility and toughness, and is expected to improve adhesive strength and mechanical strength.
It can be used to modify the resin of FRP composite materials, adhesives, and electronic components (sealing materials, laminates).
