Biconvex Lenticular Particles
Overview
Cross-linked polymethyl methacrylate biconvex lenticular shaped particles that have been developed from our unique shape configuration technology.
- INCI Name
- Methyl Methacrylate Crosspolymer
Features
- (1) Soft focus effects are expected from the wider range of light reflection compared to the spherical particles.
- (2) The amount of contact surface with the skin is expected to improve adhesion.

Evaluation of light reflection performance
Measured the reflected light intensity of incident light (-45°) within the range (+/-90°) by goniophotometer.
Biconvex lenticular particles reflect light at a wider range than spherical particles.
Skin adhesion property
The biconvex lenticular particles have more contact surface to the skin compared to spherical particles which improves the adhesion to the skin and durability of the makeup.
